I am a passionate teacher with over 15 years of experience in elementary and middle school classrooms, ready to help your child grow as a reader, writer, thinker, or mathematician. I love working with children of all ages, from Kindergarteners through 8th graders, and I have experience in multiple-subject classrooms (K-5) as well as teaching English, Writing, and History/Social Sciences to grades 6-8.  My recent training and leadership work with the Common Core State Standards in English Language Arts have also provided me with insight into how to guide students to meet these rigorous and exciting new expectations in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
